We have been with Directv for years and we have not had any major problems that were not quickly addressed and corrected. Would recommend.
All of the information I was provide and sold on in my decision to go with DirectTV was false. I have spent hours on the phone with DirectTV learning more about the "offering" I was sold and every call the news gets worse and worse. One of the biggest mistakes I've made was utilizing My Utilities and DirectTV.
It was raining when the service man hooked up the wiring outside. he came back the next day to retrieve his drill, the next day i went outside the facing on my mobile home was torn away and bent. I'm not too happy about this. other than that i find the controller clumsy. service was good and fast. i'm happy with the channel selections.
Not so great Internet connectivity
It took 5 phone calls to get local channels. Guide displays all channels, not just those to which you subscribe. The channel order is unwieldy and not at all user friendly. I miss my local cable—more expensive but worth it.
